Junior Estimator / Coordinator

Macallan Custom Homes & Renovations is seeking to hire a full-time administrative coordinator located in metro Atlanta. Macallan Homes specializes in luxury custom home building and large scale remodeling projects.

The Junior Estimator / Coordinator will support the estimating and project management teams by assisting with quantity takeoffs, pricing, tendering, and coordination with trades and suppliers. This role is ideal for an entry - level detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn and grow within the residential construction industry.

Job Description

• Assist in preparing accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for residential projects.
• Support tendering and bidding processes, including obtaining and reviewing trade / supplier quotes.
• Maintain and update cost databases, trade pricing, and estimating templates.
• Help prepare budgets and cost reports for ongoing projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, site staff, and suppliers to ensure timely flow of information.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify scope, changes, and discrepancies.
• Track and log change orders, RFIs, and addenda as required.
• Assist with project schedules, documentation, and general coordination tasks.
• Provide administrative support to the estimating and construction management team as needed.
