Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,498 per week in Salem, OR

Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Operating Room Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 10 hours Experience : 2 years of experience required License : Oregon CNA license must be in hand at the time of submission Certifications : BLS Required, ACLS preferred Must-Have : Epic Charting experience is a hard stop requirement Description : OR RN, day shift. BLS certification is required. ACLS certification is preferred. Two years of experience is required. First-time travelers are allowed. Shifts are 4 x 10 hours, with variable start times at 07 : 00, 09 : 00, or 11 : 00. Weekday night call shifts are scheduled for 8 hours from 23 : 00 to 07 : 00. Weekend scheduled and call shifts are either 10 or 12 hours. Expect 5 to 6 shifts of call and / or weekend scheduled shifts per 6-week schedule. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 60 patients. The unit supports various patient diagnoses, including neuro, cardiovascular, general, urology, gynecology, and trauma. Skills needed include proficiency in several surgical procedures. Candidates may float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby. Refusing to float may result in contract cancellation. Travel experience is required. Community hospital experience is preferred. License hits will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Additional requests for time off after submission may impact consideration.
