Nuclear Medicine Technology, Part-Time Faculty

This position is the adjunct faculty / local clinical coordinator for students in the nuclear medicine technology program who are in Wenatchee, WA. Visits occur approximately monthly and can be via Zoom (at least one in-person visit each quarter).

Adjunct Professor is typically assigned as needed on a quarterly basis, with no expectation of continued employment beyond the current appointment. Compensation is $43.80 - $53.78 per hour. Individuals newly hired to Adjunct Professor group at the college are placed at the minimum rate per union bargaining agreement. Certain positions may also be eligible for assignment / project-based additional compensation, including a High Demand Stipend up to $8,350 annually, prorated based on the discipline and duration of the assignment. All additional compensations are subject to change depending on funding and negotiated agreement.

The Nuclear Medicine Technology program is the only one of its kind in the state of Washington, educating technologists for both diagnostic imaging and radionuclide therapy. The professional curriculum is covered over 6 quarters and includes both didactic and considerable clinical training. Almost all program graduates have gone on to pass credentialing exams and work in the field.

The responsibilities of the clinical coordinator in various geographic locations for the BC nuclear medicine program are :

• Perform regular (approximately monthly) site visits to students in the BC nuclear medicine program who are located in the geographic area of the clinical coordinator.
• Provide reports to the program director and program clinical coordinator about student progress after each visit.
• Attend twice-yearly advisory committee meetings.
• Attend quarterly clinical coordinator meetings.
