Physician - Physiatrist / Interventional Spine / Spine Consultant Outpatient Clinic

MaineHealth Neurosurgery & Spine is seeking a fellowship trained Interventional Physiatrist (MD / DO) for their well-established outpatient multispecialty Spine Center in Scarborough. The ideal candidate enhances our comprehensive model of care with proficiency in diagnosis and management as well as performs interventional procedures for non-surgical spinal conditions. Call taken from home and amounts to approximately six weeks per year. The selected candidate will join 11 physiatrists, 12 surgeons, 2 anesthesiologists, and 3 physical therapists.

About the position :

• Leading Spine and Neurosurgical Practice in the state of Maine.
• Clinical work includes consultations and ongoing management of spine conditions
• Interventional spine injections up to 2 days per week, clinic evaluations 3 days per week
• Work alongside physiatrists, neurosurgeons, orthopedic spine surgeons, and anesthesiologists.
• Built in 2019, the 100,000ft

medical building has on-site access to EMG, X-ray, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and MRI as well as two fluoro suites. Access colleagues in Neurosurgery, Physiatry, Neurology, Vascular surgery, and ENT- all in the same building.
