Part-Time, 2 shifts of 12 hours each; requires rotational shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and holidays.

\n\nJob Description\n

The Registered Nurse applies knowledge of nursing theory, technical, and communication skills in delivering high-quality compassionate care to patients and families. The RN assesses patient needs, develops a plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, provides direct care, evaluates patient progress, and coordinates care delivery throughout the patient’s episode.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Assess patient / family needs through active listening and analysis of data.

    • \n

  • Create individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and health care team members.

    • \n

  • Evaluate and adjust plans based on patient response or changes in condition.

    • \n

  • Provide education to patients and families on self-care beyond hospitalization.

    • \n

  • Promote comfort and provide emotional support within a healing environment.

    • \n

  • Encourage teamwork and collaboration to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • NYS RN Licensure

    • \n

  • Current certifications in BLS and ACLS

    • \n

  • One year of experience in a Med / Surg environment as a Registered Nurse
