  • Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Weekend Requirement : 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks (Friday and Saturday nights count as weekend shifts)\n
  • Block Scheduling : Yes\n
  • Patient Ratios : 1 : 3\n
  • Orientation : 40 hours\n
  • Parking : Free employee / visitor parking in unrestricted lots\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1850 - $1980\n
  • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse license (compact license accepted; must be in hand at submission)\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience (2 years preferred)\n
  • Travel nursing experience required\n
  • Experience in community hospital and Level II Trauma Center preferred\n
  • Certifications : TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS\n
  • Epic charting system experience required\n
  • 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years\n
  • Willingness to float to sister facilities as needed\n
  • Commitment to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)\n
  • Compliance with facility dress code (solid navy blue scrubs for RNs)\n
  • \n\nER Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Provide high-quality emergency care to adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients\n
  • Manage patient ratios of 1 : 3 in a busy emergency room setting\n
  • Perform triage, central line management, CPAP / BiPAP, isolation precautions, IV vasopressors, and dysrhythmia management\n
  • Care for ventilated patients and respond to acute emergencies including stroke, STEMI, trauma, and other critical diagnoses\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, social services)\n
  • Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR\n
  • Participate in comprehensive stroke and trauma protocols\n
  • Maintain professional standards and adhere to hospital policies\n
