• Substantiate financial transactions through diligent auditing of documents.
• Maintain robust accounting controls by developing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and providing expert answers to their questions.
• Resolve financial discrepancies by thoroughly collecting and analyzing account information.
• Ensure financial data security by performing regular database backups.
• Maintain financial security through strict adherence to internal controls.
• Process payments by verifying documentation and facilitating disbursement requests.
• Answer accounting procedure inquiries by researching and interpreting relevant accounting policies and regulations.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, ensuring adherence to necessary regulations, and advising management on required actions.
• Prepare special financial reports by diligently collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
