The Program Coordinator II will oversee a team of Extension Agents delivering public health education, research-based interventions, and community wellness programming across six counties in Metro Houston. This role is central to PVAMU's Cooperative Extension Program and supports the mission of improving quality of life in communities through outreach education in health, nutrition, and overall wellness. As part of the Journey to Eminence 2035 Strategic Plan : Goal #4, which aims for PVAMU to reach R1 research status, the Program Coordinator II will design and administer surveys, analyze data, and assist Program Leadership and faculty in preparing journal articles and conference presentations. These scholarly activities will directly support and elevate the research mission of the university, ensuring that public health interventions are not only impactful at the community level but also advance the institution's academic reputation and research portfolio.
This position may pay more than the salary listed above depending on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
