Cornerstone Staffing Solutions Inc., is seeking a Workforce Engagement Coordinator. This role requires you to work onsite with our Client to oversee all warehouse activities performed by our employees, where you’ll have the strong advantage of personal interaction amongst Team Members and the Client. The hourly pay range is from $25.00-$30.00 an hour, depending on experience. This position will be working in a Distribution Center in Tracy, CA. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Please Note : There will be times when hours may vary, again depending upon the Client needs and production levels. Weekend and after-hours flexibility is essential for this role.

SCHEDULE :

The standard weekly schedule is Monday thru Friday; with a flexible start time between

4 : 30am to 6 : 00am, start time is depending upon Client’s needs and production level.

Working an 8 hour shift from start time, daily overtime will vary.

Workforce Engagement Coordinator PRIMARY FUNCTIONS :

  • Manage a team of 100 plus employees at any given time.
  • Control the workflow on the floor in an efficient manner, meeting both the Client's and CSSI's standards.
  • Track productivity and provide feedback on quality related performances of associates.
  • Utilize PeopleNet / BullHorn software.
  • Establish and promote hard work ethics through teamwork and collaboration with associates.
  • Share business information with teammates through floor presence, suggest improvements to current techniques.
  • Experience with Forklift / Pallet Jack / Turret equipment a plus.
  • Promote safety awareness and cultivate the safety culture throughout the company to help avoid unsafe or hazardous working conditions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by communicating safety topics, conducting safety audits and training.
  • Conduct daily meetings.
  • Efficiently responding to emails.
  • Stay abreast of daily production goals and deadlines.
  • Daily reporting to research and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Other duties as instructed.

REQUIREMENTS & MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience in distribution, working with a warehouse management system, manufacturing or retail environment.
  • Previous experience working in the staffing industry a huge plus.
  • Proficiency in working with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook required.
  • Ability to multitask and be extremely detailed while performing all tasks and reports.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. Effective communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner.
  • Availability to work a full time schedule, which may include; nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
  • Excellent attendance, and willingness to be part of a team - performing whatever duties are necessary.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
  • Forklift Training experience a plus.
  • Team-player attitude with a focus on collaboration.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to stand & move about the warehouse floor for several hours at a time.
  • Background check, including criminal and drug screening.
