Construction Superintendent

Location : Madison, WI

A well-established general contractor with a strong presence in the Madison area is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on complex commercial projects. This company is known for delivering high-quality builds across healthcare, education, civic, and corporate markets. Responsibilities :

Manage day-to-day construction activities and oversee all field operations

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to keep projects on schedule and within budget

Enforce site safety standards and ensure compliance with all regulations

Conduct regular site inspections and maintain quality control

Resolve field issues and keep project managers informed on progress and challenges

Lead jobsite meetings, create daily reports, and maintain project documentation

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professionalism on the job site

Requirements :

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman on commercial construction projects

Proven track record managing schedules, budgets, and subcontractor teams

Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety protocols

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Proficiency with construction management software and reporting tools

OSHA certification or other safety training preferred
