SQL Server Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced SQL Server Developer to support the design and delivery of data-driven solutions for multiple enterprise clients. This role focuses on backend database development and systems integration, working closely with engineering and business stakeholders to build reliable, scalable accounting and integration software. The ideal candidate brings strong SQL Server expertise along with scripting and integration experience in a modern development environment.

This role is fully remote to applicants located in the Portland metro area with occasional onsite meetings.

SQL Server Developer Responsibilities

• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and functions to support business and integration needs.
• Build and support data integrations between internal systems and external platforms using SQL Server–based solutions and custom integration logic.
• Develop automation and integration scripts using PowerShell and Python to support data movement, transformation, and system interoperability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand accounting, reporting, and integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, data inconsistencies, and integration failures, implementing long-term fixes and improvements.
• Contribute to database architecture decisions, coding standards, and best practices to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.

SQL Server Developer Qualifications

Salary : $80K-$110K / year. (DOE)
