We are currently seeking an experienced Roadway Design Engineer – Project Manager - to support and grow our Transportation Practice in our Charlotte, NC office.

Annual Compensation : $95,000 – 185,000 based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards.

ROADWAY DESIGN ENGINEER – PROJECT MANAGER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Responsible for scope, fees, and the profitability of individual projects as well as a portfolio of projects.
• Point person and firm’s contact with clients while functioning as project manager.
• Assists in new sales with clients for which they are managing projects.
• Guides and coordinates all internal LJB transportation disciplines, with sub-consultants, and clients.
• Has a basic understanding of what the other transportation disciplines do and what they require as part of specific projects.

Responsible for the nine knowledge areas, according to the Project Management Institute (PMI), that are associated with each phase of the project they are managing including :
