Job descriptionFlorida Dental Radiology Certificate FL Dental Expanded Duty Certificate FL driver s license Current / active CPR certificate Must have a working knowledge of standard dental procedures techniques and material used in the dental clinic Must have a working knowledge of OSHA standards, dental infection control and hazardous dental materials Must have a positive, helpful attitude toward dental director, dentist, students, staff, patients and their families Must have the ability to enter information into EagleSoft electronic oral health record Must have ability to enter information into EagleSoft electronic oral health record Bilingual (English / Spanish) highly preferred Pediatric Experience highly preferred
WORK SCHEDULE : Ability for flexible days. Work FT or 2-3 days a week.
DRESS CODE : Scrubs
TRAVEL : 10% of the time. May be assigned to a school site. Can ride with a state employee in a state vehicle. Normally will be an elementary school. Will be at the school for the entire day, not travel required during business hours.
EQUIPMENT USED : EagleSoft computer software, autoclave, dental equipment
Job Description : -
DENTAL TREATMENT
- Expanded duties as licensed by the board of professional regulations for certified dental assistant
- Will polish clinical crowns of teeth
- Will apply topical fluoride gels and varnish
- Will place temporary restorations and sealants
- Will remove sutures
- Will fabricate temporary crowns, pack cord and cement temporary crowns
