As a Principal RF Signal and Sensor Modeling Engineer, you will work on a close-knit team to create advanced, physics-based modeling solutions in the DoD Space. You will develop key technologies in the RF domain to help engineers grasp the most complex aspects of energy transport, enabling the design and test of tomorrow's artificial intelligence algorithms and hardware solutions.
What You Will Do
- You will champion novel solutions for advanced modeling techniques
- You will develop new C++ models in an extensible and maintainable fashion
- You will deploy Radio Frequency (RF) phenomenology and advanced physics concepts in a software implementation
- You will enable our customer's success through adoption and utilization of modeling solutions
- You will work efficiently inside an established software product, across programming languages, and technical environments
- You will research and develop novel RF modeling solutions
- You will coordinate with multiple development teams to prioritize and solve complex software and physics problems
- You will mentor and share RF expertise with your team
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and eight (8) years of prior relevant experienceExperience applying object-oriented software design, programming in C or C++, and using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data setsExperience with UNIX / Linux or Apple OS or Windows DOS command lineExperience in radar processing, Imaging RF systems, energy transport, radar physics, signal processing or discrimination algorithmsActive and transferable U.S. government issues security clearance is required prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearanceQualifications We Prefer
Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related STEM degreeExperience with OpenGL, CUDA, or other GPU accelerated languages / architectures and Scene Generation / Sensor Modeling technologiesExperience with electronic warfare modeling, developing signal processing algorithms for missile applications, signal & image processing, digital communications, or estimation theory, or AI / ML and training techniquesExperience with Real-time Programming, software change management tools and processes, using and augmenting Build Systems (Make / CMake), and working with large production software environmentExperience with and ability to interface with adjacent engineering disciplines (Signal Processing, Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering)What We Offer
