What You Will Do
Trimble Advanced Positioning is offering a full-time position opportunity for a professional experience in geodetic survey, geomatics or information technology (IT) to join our team in Hoehenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn (Munich area), Germany. The selected candidate will be working with a team that monitors and manages the operational networks that deliver Trimble's unprecedented global real-time service CenterPoint RTX, along with the well-established portfolio of regional Trimble VRS Now real-time services.
The selected candidate will monitor and operate high-availability systems in a highly motivated, international team of system operators located in Germany, Australia, and the United States. The hired person will be monitoring, operating and working as part of a 24x7x365 'Follow the Sun' network operations team in these three regional time zones - some days require strict working hours. Additionally the candidate will focus on building monitoring and automation based on metrics coming from the monitored services. Third focus for this position is keeping CORS (Continuously Operating Reference Station) infrastructure alive as a fundamental network for the services.
A limited amount of domestic and international travel will be required (Less than 10% of working time).

In a hybrid role, you will work with your manager to establish a mutually agreeable schedule for your time working in the office based on the position and the business need. Typically hybrid positions are 3 days per week in the office
Compensation : Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and / or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
