Position Overview:
Nutritional Frontiers is seeking a Finance Manager to join our team and drive financial strategy, oversee AP/AR, provide financial trending & analysis for operations, and growth initiatives. This leadership position reports to the CEO, Jamie Dorley, and requires a strategic Finance professional who combines accounting expertise with operational insight, particularly in inventory management and ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with NetSuite and a proven track record in product-based companies. This role maybe structured as either full-time onsite or a hybrid role. Hybrid employees are required to work a minimum of 3 days onsite in the Pittsburgh office to attend financial planning meetings and attend quarterly corporate meetings in person. This is non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with company objectives
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
- Provide strategic financial insights and analytics to the leadership team
- Oversee cash flow management and working capital optimization
- Drive financial analysis to support business decision-making and growth initiatives
Accounting and Financial Reporting:
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial procedures
- Serve as liaison to outside accounting firm
Business Operations Analyses:
- Support operational efficiencies and lead initiatives by providing financial analysis and trend reporting
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators for all departments
- Key focus should be on inventory turnover, carrying costs, and obsolescence
- Implement inventory valuation methodologies and cost accounting procedures
- Collaborate on terms for all company vendors, as needed
Required Qualifications
Education and Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPA certification preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive finance and/or accounting experience
- Experience with NetSuite ERP financial package implementation and management, preferred
- Strong track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Preferred background in product-based companies and/or nutraceuticals
Technical Skills:
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities
- Experience with inventory management systems and cost accounting
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance requirements
- Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools
