TRD is looking for a highly motivated and experienced engineer in manufacturing.

Key responsibilities :

• Analyze manufacturing project files, engineering drawings, specifications and CAD models to develop machining strategies that meet dimensional quality, delivery, automation, machine and company performance objectives and goals.
• Develop tool cutter lists for effective material removal from established tool database. Recommend new cutting tools to improve machining efficiency and quality when required.
• Establish tool cutter speeds and feeds based on manufacturers recommendations, personal experience and controlled tests.
• Develop first-run, quality toolpath strategies using CAD-CAM software for efficient material removal using latest 5-axis high-speed machining techniques that maximize machine efficiency.
• Identify improvements to processes and methods for continuous improvement.

The annual base salary range for this position is $97,400.00 - $158,200.00.
