Manufacturing Recruiter Job Description
The Manufacturing Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for manufacturing and production roles. This individual partners closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, and ensure a seamless candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute full-cycle recruiting strategies for manufacturing, production, maintenance, and technical positions.
- Collaborate with department leaders and HR to forecast staffing needs and define role requirements.
- Source candidates through job boards, networking, social media, employee referrals, and direct outreach.
- Screen and interview candidates to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Manage and track candidates in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Coordinate interview schedules and provide timely feedback to candidates and hiring teams.
- Negotiate offers and facilitate the onboarding process.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
- Track recruiting metrics to measure hiring efficiency and quality.
- Represent the company professionally at job fairs, community events, and trade schools.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong sourcing and networking skills with proven success filling skilled trades and technical positions.Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.Knowledge of HR and employment laws, recruiting best practices, and applicant tracking systems.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills :
Experience recruiting for CNC machinists, maintenance technicians, assemblers, engineers, or production supervisors.Familiarity with workforce development programs and manufacturing training pipelines.Certification in Talent Acquisition (e.g., AIRS, SHRM-CP, or PHR) is a plus.Why Greenville? https : / / www.visitgreenvillesc.com /
