We have an immediate need near Woodbury, CT, for a dedicated provider to cover a critical gap in patient care. This role is ideal for a physician who values flexibility and enjoys working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Position Overview : Location : Near Woodbury, CT Start Date : ASAP (as soon as credentialed) End Date : Ongoing Shift Type : Days, with some weekend and night call requirements FTE : Full-time or part-time depending on availability Assignment Details : Setting : Inpatient consults and outpatient clinic Schedule : Clinic Days : 3 days per week (Monday-Friday) from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM On-Call : Infrequent weekend and night call, typically 2-3 weekends per year and a 1 : 10 night call rotation Patient Demographics : Adults and geriatric patients Patient Load : Inpatient : 10 patients per day Outpatient : 15 patients per day Specialty Focus : 80% Hematology 20% Oncology Team Structure : 10 physicians and 8 advanced practice providers (APPs) EMR System : Epic Requirements : Board Certification : Must be board-certified in Hematology Oncology. State License : Must hold an active Connecticut state license. Experience : Preferably local candidates; no flights required. Certification Requirements : BLS certification required.
