Job descriptionMaster’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Alabama Speech-Language Pathology license issued by ABESPA (Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology) Passing score on the Praxis Speech-Language Pathology exam Completion of a clinical fellowship and supervised practicum Eligibility for, or possession of, the Alabama Professional Educator Certificate in Speech-Language Pathology (P–12) through ALSDE Conduct evaluations and administer speech and language assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Provide therapy services to students in individual and group settings Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and meet compliance standards Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
