General Manager

Club Pilates is the nation's largest and fastest-growing Pilates franchise with over 900 studios worldwide. The General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing all studio operations, including sales performance, staff management, member satisfaction, and studio culture. The GM leads by example, setting the standard for excellence while inspiring the team to meet and exceed goals. This role requires a mix of strategic leadership, hands-on management, and an ability to drive results in sales, marketing, and operations all while maintaining a fun, empowering environment for both staff and members.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Drive membership and retail sales through effective lead follow-up, tour conversions, and community engagement.
  • Meet or exceed monthly EFT and PUF revenue goals.
  • Manage Smart Plans and task cadence for follow-ups and lead conversions.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly sales reviews to identify opportunities.

Studio Operations

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring studio runs efficiently and professionally.
  • Manage payroll biweekly and confirm accurate pay for instructors and sales staff.
  • Submit weekly schedules, verify coverage, and ensure all classes are properly staffed.
  • Monitor metrics through the scorecard and report weekly to the Regional Manager.
  • Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, and mentor the sales and instructor teams.
  • Conduct quarterly conversations and L10 meetings to ensure alignment with Rocks and Milestones.
  • Coach staff to deliver world-class member experiences and uphold brand standards.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, integrity, and accountability.
  • Marketing & Community Outreach

  • Execute grassroots and partnership initiatives to generate new leads.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure brand consistency and alignment with promotions.
  • Represent the studio at community events, charity drives, and local sponsorship.
  • Member Experience & Retention

  • Create a warm, welcoming studio culture where members feel seen, valued, and supported.
  • Proactively manage member retention and satisfaction through engagement and communication.
  • Resolve member concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Qualifications

    2+ years of leadership experience (preferably in fitness, wellness, or hospitality).

    Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.

    Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

    Proficient in CRM or studio management software (Club Ready experience preferred).

    Passion for health, fitness, and personal growth.

    Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
