About The Position

CRNA Locum Opportunity – Tucson, AZ

We are seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a locum opportunity in Tucson, Arizona. This position offers a diverse caseload in a Level I trauma center and academic environment.

Position Details :

Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (2x10s or 2x12s).

Providers unable to meet this minimum will not be accepted.

Scheduling options include 4x10s , 3x12s , or part-time (minimum 20 hours / week).

Minimum commitment of 3 months , with the option to extend .

Experienced providers preferred , though new graduates will be considered with an extended orientation period.

Hospital privileging takes approximately 30–45 days with an active Arizona license and clean provider file.

Clinical Environment :

Approximately 50–65% of time will be spent in offsite locations , including :

Endoscopy (6–7 rooms daily)

Cath Lab (2 rooms)

Radiology (1 room)

The percentage of offsite coverage is expected to decrease over time as staffing increases.

Case Types :

Patients are typically ASA III–V .

CRNAs will cover a wide range of cases including :

GYN, Spine, Ortho Trauma, General, Bariatric, Vascular, Pediatrics, ENT, Colorectal, Neuro, Podiatry, General Trauma, Endoscopy, Cath Lab, and Radiology.

No coverage required for :

Hearts, OB, or complex vascular procedures such as AAAs, thoracic cases, or organ transplants.
