Overview
Hollaway Environmental + Communications Services, a growing professional services firm based in central Houston with offices in San Antonio, seeks an exceptional candidate in the Central Texas area to support our award-winning Environmental Services team. As a Senior Environmental Scientist II, you would be responsible for complex environmental clearance, permitting, and mitigation and restoration planning. This position also supports and maintains multiple environmental projects / accounts simultaneously.
Compensation
- Base pay range : $83,000.00 / yr - $97,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities
Lead project scope development, budget proposals, client communication, and problem-solving.Maintain positive client relationships and uphold quality assurance for deliverables.Manage multiple projects concurrently and ensure compliance with safety plans.Lead complex environmental assessments, including wetland delineations and species habitat assessments.Prepare technical reports and coordinate with natural resource agencies.Advise clients on permitting strategies and oversee NEPA documentation.Support client and vendor relationships and participate in business development activities.Assist in developing responses to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.Stay current on industry developments and regulations.What Success Looks Like

Requires a Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field and 7+ years of relevant experience.Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations is essential.Strong technical writing and document review skills are necessary.Preferred
Current scientific research permits and certifications, such as Professional Wetland Scientist or Certified Arborist, are preferred.GIS experience and multilingual abilities are advantageous.Professional Skills
