Responsibilities

What You'll Do :

As a Mental Health Therapist at Kolmac, you will be at the center of patient care—building strong therapeutic relationships and delivering high-quality, evidence-based treatment. You'll lead therapy groups, facilitate individual and family sessions, and contribute to integrated treatment plans within our innovative outpatient, and intensive outpatient settings.

Clinical Responsibilities Include :

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults in OP and IOP levels of care
• Work in person at our Washington, DC location from 12 : 30-8 : 30 PM with a flexible one-day option to work from home dependent on patient needs
• Develop and maintain person-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level-of-care determinations
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management to support insight and empowerment
• Design and deliver engaging process, psychoeducational and skills groups focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, and mental wellness
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists to provide integrated mental health care
• Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning
• Coordinate care with families, referral sources, and external providers as appropriate
• Demonstrates commitment to excellent patient care, which is measured through clinical outcomes, such as patient retention, attendance, successful program completion, transitioning from IOP, OP
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely

Incentive Compensation :

This position is eligible for additional commission-based compensation tied to clinical group participation and engagement. Therapists earn additional compensation for each participant in their assigned therapy groups.

Total Compensation :

With consistent group census and strong clinical outcomes, total annual compensation is up to $105,000, with the potential for high performers to earn more based on group volume and engagement.
