Unleash Your Potential in the Enchanting City of Portland, Oregon

There's a unique vibe that permeates through the vibrant streets of Portland. Perhaps it's the scent of artisan coffee wafting through the air as bicycles whiz by, or the captivating arts scene bustling with creativity. Beyond the lush landscapes and striking architecture lies an opportunity crafted for those who yearn for a balance between professional fulfillment and personal growth. If you're an Imaging Technologist with a passion for excellence and a heart for patient care, your dream role awaits.

In this pivotal position, you will step into the dynamic realm of medical imaging - a crucial role that stitches together the fabric of patient care. Your expertise will not only allow you to generate precise and insightful images, but you will also play an essential role in comforting patients during vital moments in their healthcare journeys. Be it capturing images that will influence a treatment strategy or offering solace in times of need, your contributions will not go unnoticed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize radiologic and CT methodologies to produce high-quality diagnostic imaging for physicians.
  • Work in collaboration with radiologists and healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnoses.
  • Carefully position patients and calibrate equipment to achieve optimal imaging results.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols for the protection of patients and staff.
  • Keep detailed records pertaining to imaging logs and equipment maintenance.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care throughout the imaging process.
  • Contribute to a structured, organized, and efficient imaging environment.

Education and Certification Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is a valuable addition.
  • Completion of an accredited radiology program.
  • ARRT certification (CT and / or Radiography) is mandatory.
  • Current BLS certification or the ability to secure one within 90 days of hire.
  • Essential Skills

  • Solid understanding of diagnostic imaging practices and safety measures.
  • Strong communication abilities to effectively engage with patients and medical staff.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and swiftly adapt to shifting priorities.
  • A meticulous approach with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Proficiency with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software.
  • Benefits of Joining Us

  • A robust benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Ample paid time off along with flexible scheduling options.
  • Access to on-site training and ongoing educational opportunities.
  • Clear pathways for career progression in imaging and options for cross-training in additional modalities.
  • A nurturing and collaborative workplace culture focused on shared success and individual development.
  • Completely on-site position in a supportive clinical setting.
  • Your Role's Impact

Engaging in this work transcends merely obtaining crystal-clear images; it's a journey of compassion and connection. Just picture yourself assisting a nervous child during a routine scan or providing comfort to a concerned grandmother. Your nurturing presence and unwavering professionalism can shift the atmosphere, turning anxiety into ease.

You won't be navigating this journey alone. A cohesive and respectful imaging team surrounds you, uniting in a shared goal to uplift one another and the patients who depend on us. The CT suite thrives on a foundation of respect and mutual support, creating an environment where independent thinkers come together for a common cause. Here, healthcare embodies both expertise and kindness - the way it should always be.

Why Portland is Your Ideal Setting

Envision living in a city known for its lively culture and breathtaking scenery. In Portland, delightful coffee shops, scenic biking trails, and vibrant nightlife coexist in harmony. The city exudes an energy that inspires creativity and exploration - inviting you to breathe the fresh air while strolling through memorable parks, or savoring food from award-winning local eateries.

Beyond its iconic bridges and picturesque views lie friendly neighborhoods, bustling craft fairs, and trails lined with cherry blossoms. The charm of Portland isn't just in its landmarks - it's in its spirit, where community connection thrives. Plus, the cost of living here offers an attractive balance, allowing you to enjoy life while keeping financial worries at bay.

Portland's healthcare community is rising swiftly, eager to attract exceptional talent while fostering an environment rife with professional growth. Whether you're at the onset of your career or seeking advanced expertise, this is a place ripe with opportunities.

    Your Future Team

Join a vibrant imaging department galvanized by a shared mission and profound respect. Here, teamwork encompasses seasoned professionals and fresh talent who believe that defining excellence is as much about relationships as it is about technical prowess. We show up for one another, celebrate achievements - great and small - and, above all, prioritize the patient experience.

This role falls under a leadership structure that encourages open communication, continuous improvement, and valuing every perspective. Your ideas will not just be welcomed; they will be integral to the evolution of our practice, whether you're sharing a new workflow enhancement or mentoring an aspiring new graduate.

    Your Ideal Candidate Profile

This opportunity is tailored for someone meticulous, empathetic, and committed to enhancing patient experiences. You understand that successful imaging relies on both skill and compassion. Calm amidst chaos, adaptable to changes, you find fulfillment in being part of something impactful.

Bring your ARRT certification and your enthusiasm. We'll provide the opportunities, collaborative environment, and a culture that celebrates your best work.

Embark on This Journey With Us

If you're eager to join a role where your expertise has an immediate impact, where appreciation is abundant, and days are filled with purpose - we would love to connect. Come be part of a transformation in imaging within one of the most exhilarating cities in the country, where healthcare meets humanity.

Apply today to help us revolutionize imaging - one scan, one patient, one story at a time.
