Arise / EFR is looking for a Lead Regional Resource Development Specialist
The Lead Regional Resource Development Specialist must have experience supervising professional staff who work directly with seniors and individuals with disabilities. Managerial capacity includes, but is not limited to program budgeting, staff scheduling and work assignments, staff performance evaluations, direct supervision of workers, program development and planning, program quality assurance and program operations.
Job Summary :
The Lead Regional Resource Development Specialist (Lead RRDS) reports to the Assistant Director of Long-Term Care. The Lead RRDS must be an experienced professional with demonstrated skills and a dedicated commitment to working to support seniors and individuals with disabilities who wish to live in community-based settings.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in health or human services or a related field and four years of combined satisfactory professional experience in working with individuals with disabilities and / or seniors.
- Registered Professional Nurse and four years of combined satisfactory professional experience working with individuals with disabilities and / or seniors, including in a managerial capacity
- Associate's degree and 10 years of combined satisfactory experience working with individuals with disabilities and / or seniors, including in a managerial capacity
- Associate's degree and four years of satisfactory experience as a Regional Resource Development Specialist
- Must have knowledge of the operation of 1915 (c) waivers, NYSDOH policies and procedures, and guidelines / regulations and community-based services, as well as working knowledge of services and supports available through Medicaid, Medicare and / or other third-party payers
- Clean driver license, reliable transportation
Essential Skills :
Manage and deliver the program objectives of conversion, repatriation, diversion, waiver administration and resource developmentAssess, identify, and address gaps in servicesDevelop and implement a comprehensive outreach campaign to recruit Wavier providersCollaborate with the Open Doors transition center and complete the bi-annual report to DOHDevelop and submit monthly and quarterly reports to DOHWork closely with DOH to provide data and input as needed regarding all aspects of the administration of the HCBS waiver in the regionParticipate in agency, departmental, and community meetingsWork location : Onondaga County - Syracuse, NY
Hours and days : Monday-Friday 8 : 00am -4 : 00pm (Tentative work from home schedule)
Compensation : $62,000 -$65,000 Annually
Non -Exempt; 40 hours per week, including one-hour paid lunch
