David Evans and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Junior Drainage Engineer-in-Training in Spokane, WA, Tri-Cities, WA, Coeur d'Alene, ID, Boise, ID or Pocatello, ID.

The increasing complexities of modern transportation include growing demands, aging infrastructure, rising costs, funding challenges, and environmental concerns. Agencies and communities faced with improving their transportation systems must do more with less. From initial investigations through planning, concept development, final design, and construction, DEA responds with solutions that serve today's transportation needs while accommodating tomorrow's growth.

What You'll Do

• Designing open channel and stormwater systems.
• Preparing supporting design documentation, including reports and technical memorandums.
• Developing solutions to design problems.
• Making revisions to documents marked up by client and / or Engineer.
• Creating and managing electronic document file structure, naming convention in accordance with company standards.
• Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Drafters to set-up and manage construction drawings and design documentation.
• Can be relied on as productive team member to work on a typical set of project documents from beginning to end with professional quality output that conforms to company standards.
• Multitasking on multiple projects at the same time.
