About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP, Group Account Director with a strong background in pharmaceutical agency experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for pursuing, networking, and closing new business, as well as leading strategic growth and new initiatives for existing accounts. This role requires the management of a portfolio with a proven value of $8-10 million or more, including budgeting, forecasting, and driving revenue. The SVP will also serve as a senior strategic advisor and trusted contact for high-level client stakeholders, ensuring that all agency deliverables are strategically sound and executed flawlessly.
Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years' progressive experience in an Account Management or Client Services role within a pharmaceutical advertising or marketing agency, with a mandatory focus on HCP / DTC pharmaceutical clients. The role demands a proven track record in managing and growing a book of business valued at $8 million+, as well as a demonstrated ability to be highly effective in both new business and organic growth. Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities are essential, as the SVP will be expected to lead, mentor, and motivate multiple account teams, fostering high performance and promoting cross-functional collaboration. The position is remote, but the candidate must be located in the tri-state area and be willing to work in the Philadelphia office for a minimum of 3 days per month.
