Description : \n\nJob Duties and Responsibilities : (Essential Functions)\n
Providing high quality, skilled, whole-health services within a rehabilitative and therapeutic model of care.\n
Actively engaging with clients, developing positive relationships that support the client in meeting their goals.\n
Acting as a collaborative team member to any program within the organization, leading and addressing comprehensive health promotion.\n
Facilitating preventative and restorative health and well-being education in individual, group and community settings.\n
Using experiential learning as an intervention to support recovery.\n
Acting as a liaison between the client and external care providers for whole health needs.\n
Providing information and / or referrals to resources in the community for increased support and stabilization.\n
Offering coaching on medication management.\n
Documenting observable behaviors and symptoms.\n\nRequirements : \n\nRequired Skills and Experience : (Minimum requirements in terms of educational background, work experience, licenses / certifications or other knowledge skills and abilities)\n
Current and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota\n
Excellent driving record, reliable car, and current auto insurance\n\nAND EITHER\n
High school diploma\n
4,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to people with Mental Illness, DD, ID or TBI\n
OR\n
Has completed 30 semester credits or 45 quarter credits in behavioral science or a related field and : \n
Has proof of a practicum or internship that requires direct interaction with adults or children served and is focused on behavioral sciences or related fields; OR\n
Has 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to people with Mental Illness, DD, ID or TBI\n\nOR\n\nBachelor's degree in Behavioral Science or related field\n
Proof of a practicum or internship requiring direct interaction with adults and focusing on behavioral sciences or related fields\n
Additional Skills and Experience : (Preferred or helpful)\n
Enrolled in or has completed an accredited Master's program in a behavioral science or related field.\n
