Associate Operations Director

The Opportunity
The role includes collaborating with the Regional Director(s), National Physician Director(s), or Physician Lead(s) on proformas, contract negotiations, and amendments. It also involves coordinating new startup operations within the region, monitoring and managing site financial performance metrics to ensure profitability, assessing the financial and operational impact of staffing changes, supporting financial forecasting and driving optimal financial performance, and coaching site management teams to ensure compliance with metrics and incentive targets to support regional success. Additionally, the role includes overseeing invoicing for contract stipends and compensation, facilitating cross-departmental integration and communication, partnering with the Regional Director(s), National Physician Director(s), or Physician Lead(s) and SMT to implement scalable processes, reviewing site performance, addressing issues, and optimizing practices for profitability, identifying, escalating, and addressing operational or financial issues, monitoring and improving performance, supporting site leadership, enhancing operational integration, supporting onboarding programs, serving as a key connection, partnering with Vituity operations teams, coordinating regional startups, designing and implementing scalable solutions, conducting regional and site-level assessments, translating business needs, providing guidance on quality, finance, and data-driven decision-making, building and maintaining strong executive relationships, contributing to regional discussions and strategy meetings, working with central services departments, ensuring site performance, contract stability, and CEO satisfaction, overseeing implementation and execution of Year 1 objectives, leading complex regional initiatives and implementing best practices, identifying common needs across sites and streamlining processes, supporting the Regional Director(s), National Physician Director(s), or Physician Lead(s) in leveraging Vituity resources, ensuring timely and effective execution of initiatives, utilizing formal tools and processes to manage budgets, resources, risks, and change initiatives, developing and presenting reports, dashboards, and project updates, collaborating with CIT to organize and facilitate pre- and post-go-live meetings, assisting in designing and executing incentive structures, facilitating physician leadership and senior management team transitions, and developing scalable processes in partnership with health systems stakeholders.
Required Experience and Competencies
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field required. At least five (5) years of relevant experience required. At least three (3) years of experience in project and / or operations management required. Strong background in healthcare operations, contract management, and financial performance oversight required. Proven ability to lead teams, mentor staff, and collaborate with cross-functional site leaders within complex healthcare systems required. Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in MS Office and Business Intelligence tools required. Experience driving financial performance and achieving targets required. Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills for engaging stakeholders, including hospital executives and external partners required. Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while supporting high-impact initiatives required. Master's degree in business or healthcare sciences preferred. Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and extract business insights preferred. Experience driving best practices, managing change, and leading teams effectively preferred. Creativity in developing solutions, with strong critical thinking and analytical skills preferred. High self-awareness and ability to build and manage relationships effectively preferred. Proven ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision in a remote environment preferred. Strong planning and organizational skills to enhance productivity and efficiency preferred. Lean training and experience in process improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency preferred.

We are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $117,110 - $149,315 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, which is based on the company's annual performance. If you are hired at Vituity, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and / or experience.
