Dairy Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Location is : 1500 124th Ave N.E. Bellevue, WA 98005
This role is part time only 3 days a week (24 hours). Candidate must be open to working all 3 shifts with advance notice.

Interview process will be 1 teams interview. If the worker does well in their interview they will be invited to come onsite for a facility tour.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local dairy regulations, including PMO standards and state-specific requirements.
Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs on dairy regulatory requirements tailored to various rolesproduction staff, lab technicians, supervisors, and plant managers.
Partner with cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, Maintenance, and HR) to identify root causes of non-compliance and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain accurate records of audit findings, training sessions, and compliance activities. Prepare detailed reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies as needed.
Analyze audit trends and compliance data to identify opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation.
Requirements
We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience :
Bachelors degree in food science, Dairy Science, Microbiology, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., HACCP, SQF, PCQI) preferred.
5+ years in a similar role.
Strong working knowledge of dairy industry regulations, including PMO, FDA, and state-level requirements.
Proven experience in quality assurance, compliance auditing, or regulatory affairs within dairy or food manufacturing environments.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively train and engage diverse teams.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable processes.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive continuous improvement in compliance practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Quality Management Systems (QMS) and experience with audit software is a plus.
