Job descriptionActive RN license with current Nursys primary source verification within 30 days prior to start, Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience, American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications required, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required and must be current per group (annually or every 2 years as appropriate), Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address, Submission requires two separate professional references and a copy of driver's license, Responsibilities include caring for patients with complex medical, surgical, and neurological needs, COVID-19 vaccination is not required, Local candidates are accepted but may be offered a reduced rate based on the facility's radius rule, Contact account manager for local rate information if applicable, Candidates may only apply to one position within the health system at a time,
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown Intermediate Care position on a dedicated Stroke Unit with night shifts and AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
Job Details
- Work in a Stepdown Intermediate Care unit within a hospital setting,
- Patient population includes medical, DKA, cardiac, gastrointestinal, renal, sepsis, trauma, and post-surgical cases,
- This is a dedicated Stroke Unit with 30 beds,
- Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 4,
- Night shift schedule from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30,
