Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs and preparing detailed estimates for a variety of construction projects, including multi-family, commercial, retail, and mixed-use developments. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams to ensure profitability and efficiency in the bidding process.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely estimates for construction projects, including multi-family, commercial, retail, and mixed-use
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine labor, material, and time requirements
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather relevant project information
• Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and On Screen Takeoff for takeoffs and bid preparation
• Review and compare bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing
• Present detailed estimates and bid proposals to clients and stakeholders
• Maintain organized records of estimates and bids for future reference
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in construction costs to provide the best estimates possible
