Responsibilities Work in a short-term acute care setting with a small department featuring two MRI scanners Shift schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM On-call required one night per week Caseload is approximately 12-20 exams per day Potential float to a sister facility within the system as needed Patient population includes many geriatric and obese patients Department uses Siemens Vida 3T and Siemens 1.5T scanners EPIC and Sectra are used for documentation; EPIC experience preferred This is not a trauma center Primary responsibilities include performing MRI exams and screening patients for implants Must be comfortable working with geriatric and obese patient populations Will be required to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed Pewter scrubs are required No parking fees for staff No first-time travelers accepted Return employees must have a one-year gap prior to returning as a traveler No more than 7 days of requested time off allowed per 13-week contract, and no time off permitted during the first week All travelers must complete modules prior to start, and fit testing is required with appropriate facial hair for sealing Requirements Current BLS and ARRT certification, with ARRT Advanced certification required Minimum of 2 years MRI experience on Siemens XA 60 platform or equivalent Proficiency in Siemens MRI equipment and in screening implants (no pacemakers performed) Valid state license required at time of consideration if applicable No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius Must be positive, friendly, and able to work well within a team Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629569.
