Job description

A company is looking for a Tax Writer to create engaging and accurate tax content for its audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write and produce practical tax content focusing on news, features, and gallery stories related to federal and state tax concepts
  • Assist the senior tax editor and team with various editorial projects
  • Analyze federal and state tax laws and guidance to generate creative content on everyday tax topics

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or legal reporting
  • A bachelor's degree
  • Experience in digital publishing and familiarity with CMS, SEO, and analytics tools
  • Knowledge of federal and state tax laws and ability to research and relay tax information
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, and a focus on timeliness and accuracy in content creation
