Staff Nurse (RN) Per Diem Float : Tier I, II or III (Emergency Department)

The Float / Per-Diem Nurse will work under the supervision of the Manager to deliver direct patient care following the Emergency Nurses Association standards of practice, and code of ethics within a Patient and Family Centered Care Model.

The Float / Per-Diem Nurse will be responsible for working the assigned shifts based on a Tier Approach agreed upon within this job description. If needed, the float / Per-Diem nurse may be assigned to work in one of the following departments : Holzer Medical Center ED, Holzer Medical Center-Jackson ED, Holzer Meigs ED.

Education, Work Experience and Licensure :

• Graduate of an approved Nursing Education program.
• Minimum 2-year nursing experience within an Emergency Department setting preferred.
• Current RN license in the State of Ohio
• BLS required through the American Heart Association
• ACLS required.
• PALS required.
• TNCC recommended.
• NRP recommended.
