Position Overview

ClickUp is seeking a Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting to lead and optimize our revenue recognition processes in preparation for IPO readiness. In this highly visible role, you will be the resident expert for all revenue-related technical accounting and operations, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and building scalable processes for a public‑company environment.

The Role

• Serve as the authoritative technical resource for complex revenue recognition issues, including multi‑element arrangements, variable consideration, and contract modifications.
• Lead the review and analysis of customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment and prepare technical accounting memos for significant or non‑standard transactions.
• Design, document, and implement key internal controls over the revenue cycle (Order‑to‑Cash) to ensure SOX compliance for public‑company readiness.
• Manage the monthly and quarterly revenue close process, ensuring accuracy and timely completion, including complex journal entries, reconciliations (e.g., deferred revenue, unbilled receivables), and fluctuation analysis.
• Drive scalability by identifying and implementing opportunities for automation and process improvement across the entire revenue stream.
• Collaborate effectively with Sales, Legal, Deal Desk, FP&A, and Operations teams to ensure revenue policies are consistently applied and new product offerings are accurately modeled for revenue implications.
• Report to the Head of Accounting and partner cross‑functionally to support IPO readiness and ongoing business growth.

Salary and Benefits

USA Salary Range (OTE) : $155,000 USD – $191,000 USD. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations.
