Overview :

This position is responsible for vehicle delivery and returning vehicles to customers. Primarily, this position moves our box trucks up to 26’ and for CDL Class A will include tractors and trailer movement.

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. DOT physical is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

Responsibilities :

• Follow safety procedures while driving trucks to test drive or deliver to customer location
• Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order, report to location manager if any issues are found
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Physical Requirements :

While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to see and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

The Driver is responsible for safely driving a truck in all conditions. Additionally, they are expected to meet company safety and customer service standards to ensure the best experience for our valued customers.

Hours

Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm
