Overview

The Restaurant CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our organization, combining strategic vision with hands‑on operational execution. Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader will oversee financial management, strategy, and planning, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The CFO will implement systems to streamline financial operations, optimize cost structures, and evaluate investment opportunities while mitigating risks. Additionally, this role involves building and leading a high‑performing finance team and fostering cross‑departmental collaboration to achieve organizational success.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include developing and executing financial strategies to drive growth and profitability, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing processes to streamline operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA / CPA preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in the restaurant, hospitality, or multi‑unit retail industry.
• Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies in a high‑growth environment.
• Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
• Proficient in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
