Commercial General Contractor | $165,000–$200,000+

My client, a reputable Commercial General Contractor in the Philadelphia region , is seeking an experienced Director of Preconstruction to lead all upfront project planning, estimating, and client interface across a diverse portfolio of commercial projects.

This is a senior leadership role for a preconstruction expert who can manage complex estimates, drive accuracy, support business development, and elevate project success from day one.

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full preconstruction and estimating department
• Oversee conceptual budgeting, hard bids, negotiated proposals & GMP development
• Work closely with owners, architects & engineers through early design phases
• Manage take-offs, quantity surveys, subcontractor pricing & value engineering
• Build and maintain subcontractor relationships across the region
• Support strategic pursuits, presentations & client-facing precon meetings
• Collaborate with operations to ensure seamless project handoff
• Develop estimating processes, historical cost data & team training structures
