Job descriptionManage Emergency General Surgery (EGS) inpatients Perform urgent and emergent general surgery cases Provide ER and inpatient surgical consultations Conduct daytime outpatient follow-up clinics during assigned weeks Highly competitive salary + productivity and start bonus Paid relocation and CME allowance Comprehensive benefits including malpractice with tail coverage Fellowship stipend (if applicable) On-site childcare center for employees’ children Teaching opportunities with residents and medical students Live and work in a family-friendly community with lakes, trails, and a cost of living 18% below the national average Board Certified / Eligible in General Surgery Critical Care Fellowship not required Team-oriented surgeon who values flexibility, efficiency, and collaboration Physician-driven, locally owned, not-for-profit, Freeman Health System serves an area that includes 450,000 residents in southwest Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
Join a busy, well-supported Acute Care Surgery (ACS) team that values teamwork, autonomy and balance. We’re looking for a part-time or full-time Acute Care Surgeon to help grow our established EGS service in a Level II trauma setting.
