Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with ARRT and ODH certification, BLS through AHA, and GE MRI equipment experience for a 13-week assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in an MRI department within a hospital setting
  • Evening shifts, Monday through Thursday, from 2 : 00 PM to 12 : 30 AM
  • Will work with GE MRI equipment
  • May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs
  • May have on-call responsibilities
  • Potential to float to other units within department scope
  • Performs diagnostic MRI procedures, administers contrast, and may operate in related modalities as needed
  • Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, exercising professional judgment, and coordinating patient flow
  • Orientation includes up to 24 hours of modules completed during the onboarding process
  • Maximum of 14 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed with initial submittal and no RTO changes after offer
  • Team structure may vary with department needs
  • Holiday coverage required per department schedule
  • Dress code and scrub requirements will follow facility policy

  • Associate degree in Allied Health with a Radiologic Technology major
  • Current BLS certification through AHA is required
  • Current ARRT and ODH certifications required
  • Previous GE MRI equipment experience required
  • Must be able to independently perform diagnostic MRI procedures with proper technique and contrast administration
  • Travel experience is preferred
  • Must be willing to work every other holiday
  • Local candidates accepted within a 30-mile radius at the same rate
  • No history of past license action will be accepted
  • License required if applicable
