Job Overview : Supports a functional group by providing strategic program support, overseeing organizational impacting programs. These programs can support organization wide strategic initiatives, or programs that work across organizations. May manage the development and implementation process of programs and projects. Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgrading existing programs.
Job Responsibilities :
- Develops program and project strategies, including execution plans. Leads kick-off, cross-functional reviews, and other program meetings.
- Leads the development and execution of complex, cross-functional program strategies supporting a global web engineering organization.
- Partners with senior leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable program roadmaps, operational plans, and measurable objectives.
- Drives alignment across multiple workstreams, ensuring consistency in execution, communication, and performance outcomes.
- Creates and manages project teams and cross-functional teams contributing to programs within a functional group, and programs that work across other organizations. Works with other program managers and management to identify and address cross-project dependences.
- Develops and implements communication plans to ensure clarity of direction, progress, and outcomes across a distributed organization.
- Partners with HR and leadership to drive engagement, talent development, and cultural alignment.
- Leads organizational change management efforts to support evolving strategies, tools, and operating models.
- Brings changes and suggestions from each program and sub-program to help improve and develop best practices.
- Manages change within the programs and evaluates risks and assesses potential impacts on program delivery.
- Partners with finance, procurement, and vendor management teams to oversee program budgets, contractor utilization, and resource allocation across global initiatives.
- Provides data-driven insights into workforce capacity, budget forecasting, and cost optimization to enable scalable and sustainable delivery.
- Also responsible for other duties / projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree, Business, Finance, Economics, Sales or related field, Equivalent experience in lieu of degree might be considered.
7-10 years' experience in organizational programs, project management or related area.
2-4 years' supervisory or program management experience.
