Summary Responsibilities Certifications and Licensures

BLS - Basic Life Support

Required Equivalent Experience - Within 1 month of hire or transfer

EMT-B - EMT Basic

Preferred Equivalent Experience - Preferred knowledge of basic life support and emergency medicine as normally acquired through completion of Basic EMT program.

EMT-S - EMT Specialist

Preferred Equivalent Experience -

Required Education

High School Diploma or GED

Equivalent Experience : One year field experience is preferred. 911 Dispatch course offered by the county will be required within 90-days of hire or transfer to the position.
