Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Statesville, NC, serving K-12 students throughout the academic year on a contract basis. This vital role requires an active North Carolina license and offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week, with onsite responsibilities.

Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in students across K-12 grade levels.
  • Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches accordingly.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to the educational planning process.

Qualifications :

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
  • Valid and active North Carolina SLP license required.
  • Experience working in a school setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children and school staff.
  • Ability to manage varying caseloads based on student needs.
