Summary : The Archer School for Girls is currently seeking a full-time School Nurse to start immediately. The School Nurse will manage the school health office to support the health and well-being of approximately 500 students in grades 6 – 12. Responsibilities also include managing student health records and serving on the Safety Committee

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Manage all aspects of the school health office including :

• Administer first aid treatment and nursing care to students
• Refer students to outside medical providers if necessary
• Document student Health Office visits using Magnus Health
• Maintain student health and immunization records in Magnus Health
• Manage and administer student medication using Magnus Health
• Create care plans for students requiring medical accommodations, in collaboration with school administration and faculty
• Maintain health office supplies and inventory
• Serve as a resource for faculty and administration around student health and wellness
• Coordinate response to infectious disease outbreaks on campus
• Maintain campus First Aid kits and AEDs
• Coordinate health-related aspects of field trips and overnight trips
• Provide assistance in an emergency health response on campus, including responding when a 911 call has been made
• Conduct Employee TB Risk Assessments

Salary range : $36.06 - $55.29 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
