We are searching for a bilingual Universal Banker / SR CSR for our client in Artesia, CA!
RESPONSIBLITIES :
- Greet and assist Bank clients and provide them exceptional service.
- Responsible for providing exceptional customer service
- Perform a variety of routine banking transactions (teller and platform)
- Participates in opening and closing branch procedures
- Able to handle high volume of calls
- Processes deposits, withdrawals, Checks cashing, loan payments and other transactions such as issuing cashier's checks.
- Conduct daily proof of ATM and cash on hand.
- Assist in opening and closing the vault daily; assists in balancing vault currency and coin.
- Be able to refer the customers to the appropriate team members for their banking needs.
- Balances cash drawer daily.
- Keeps the workstation neat, clean and well stocked with supplies and brochure materials.
- Any additional task assigned by Branch Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for complex client inquiries and problem resolution.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior bankers and teller staff to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Assist Branch Management in monitoring daily operations, compliance, and risk management activities.
- Support sales initiatives by identifying client needs and recommending appropriate banking products and services.
- Handle escalated service issues promptly and professionally to maintain client satisfaction.
- Participate in branch audits and ensure regulatory compliance with all banking laws and internal policies.
- Assist in training new team members on branch operations, systems, and customer service standards.
- Contribute to achieving branch goals by actively engaging in business development and cross-selling opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS :
Effective communication skills.Bilingual - Mandarin, Cantonese, Taiwanese, Tagalog, Hindi, Persian or similar languages - Very diverse demographic areaHigh School diploma or general education degree (GED); Minimum 2 year of banking experienceKnowledge of banking products and servicesBasic knowledge in branch teller activities, terminology and products and servicesBasic computer and typing skills.Basic math skills.Good organizational skills.Ability to work with a minimum supervision while performing daily duties.Desired Skills and Experience
