What you bring to the table

• Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
• Assist with projects by keeping files, deadlines, and communications on track.
• Perform and coordinate daily administrative task, including answering phones and emails, scanning and filing documents, and managing office supplies.
• Draft, edit, and format various documents, such as reports, memos, presentation, and letters.
• Manage and filter incoming communication, respond to inquiries, and act as a point of contact for vendors and other departments.
• Submit accurate and detailed purchase requisitions within the Stratton Warren System for all of Facilities / Maintenance service and product needs.
• Adhere to purchasing policies such as approval process, and capitalization rules; billing the correct departments; understanding billing codes; and vendor familiarity.
• Collaborate with Purchasing regarding purchase order statuses, particularly for service-related work, to ensure purchase orders are closed out when work is completed.
• Step in with flexibility to support managers, staff, and projects wherever needed, always bringing a positive, service-oriented approach.
• Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned)

You'll need to be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings when we are busy. During your shift, you'll sit for extended periods, and frequently stand and walk, and use your hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. It's important to stay calm and make good decisions under pressure, especially when dealing with stressful situations or upset people. Just a heads-up-the casino environment may expose you to secondhand smoke.
