About The Position

Job Title : RN Emergency Room

Experience : 2 years of Emergency Nursing experience

License : Current RN License

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC preferred

Must-Have :

• General ED nursing skills, including assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education.
• Clinician to patient ratio of 1 : 4.
• Ability to float as required.
• Willingness to rotate shifts when requested.

Description :

The position is located in a 65-bed emergency department with a separate pediatric pod and acute mental health area.

The average census is 230 visits per day.

Experience in emergency nursing is required, including skills in assessment, documentation, and various clinical procedures.

The applicant must have a strong foundation in critical thinking and patient education.

Familiarity with the EMR charting system is necessary.

Certifications in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, and pediatric advanced life support are required.

Trauma nursing core course certification is strongly preferred.
