Job Title : Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

The Mechanical Assembler will work in truck bays to install custom bed / box, snow plows, and dump beds using hand tools to fasten and attach these implements and accessories.

Responsibilities

• Utilize hand tools to assemble and install custom equipment on trucks.
• Read and comprehend job descriptions for different truck lines.
• Receive training on assembly processes specific to various truck models.
• Ensure the proper installation of aftermarket equipment and accessories.

Work Environment

Work in a large, well-lit, organized, and clean bay environment. The role involves day shifts from 6 am to 2 : 30 pm, with very few weekends and overtime required. The dress code includes jeans / work pants and a T-shirt. Work exclusively on new cars and equipment that have not yet been used on the road.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FLINT, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00 / hr.
